The Urban List

I worked digital startup, The Urban List to develop and implement creative and effective marketing strategies and campaigns that increased brand awareness and drove traffic to the site, with a primary focus on ROI.

With a clear understanding of the future of digital, and the importance of supporting local and independent businesses in Brisbane, I developed B2B and B2C marketing strategies aimed at traffic growth and revenue generation, and as a result, grew traffic on the site from 4,000 to 70,000 unique visitors in 18 months.

In addition, I developed social media strategy and campaigns and managed all outreach across a range of platforms, resulting in an increase in The Urban List’s social media presence on Facebook from 500 fans to over 15,00 in 18 months, which drives over 30% of traffic to the media platform.

I also rolled out The Urban List platform across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales in late 2013. This included the development of a digital strategy that differentiates each platform, leveraging on the brand awareness I established in Queensland.

My projects included: Developing email marketing strategies, content strategy across social media channels and on-site, used website data to make strategic decisions about product development and strategic marketing, and developed search engine optimisation best practices.
