What We’ve Been Up To Recently

Team Deane is always on the go across town and the interwebs. This is what we’ve been doing recently…

General Assembly recently launched in Brisbane and we were very proud that Claire was asked to be one of the speakers so early in the game. She spoke about being a data-driven marketer, and why marketing efforts must be accountable through metrics. She taught her masterclass students how to use the right analytics to grow their businesses, improve their marketing efforts, and communicate to stakeholders.

We’re also very excited to start working with Organic Index and Code Camp on their PR and marketing strategies!

There’s no denying that Lani is smart, but the fact that she scheduled a quick getaway to Melbourne before the Christmas madness was genius. Here are her top three Melbourne tips:

  1. Schedule an onsen and massage at Onsen Ma. Tucked away at the Parliament end of the CBD, you'll forget you're in Melbourne's city centre and be transported to Tokyo.
  2. Book in for a Sunday Yin Sound Bath at Universal Practice.
  3. Eat at Higher Ground for at least breakfast but dinner if you can, too. There's breakfast cocktails, a café menu to make you say "Avocado on toast is so 2015", and the interior is enough to make you want to move in.

Collective Hub is a favourite among entrepreneurs and business owners alike, and Phoebe has had a lot of fun writing up a storm for them recently. She wrote about Dinosaur Designs turning 40, exactly how one Sydney mum started a cradle-to-cradle lifestyle business, and why you don’t need to live in a capital city to be successful.
