I was a couple months into running my business full-time and was juggling 100 ideas and suggestions about what I ‘should’ be doing online – via my website, my social channels, and digital marketing. I left the session with a clear understanding of priorities and focuses, and –most importantly – where not to waste my time. Deane & Co hosted a one-off marketing mentoring session with Sarah when she had first won Channel 10’s Shark Tank. Travelshoot needed to increase their Instagram following and cement some of the lessons learned by participating in the competition. Sarah was looking for an opportunity to talk through some of the lessons she had learned and the feedback she had gained on Shark Tank – and turn these into concrete actions.
Together we worked out how Travelshoot could grow in different markets – such as through weddings – as well as new outreach and PR opportunity. It was also important for Sarah to create some of her own content instead of relying on existing photography content, and we worked out what this would look like.
